#SeeSnowGoSlow - Heavy Snow Hitting Parts of the Island

March 22nd, 2018

There’s a heavy band of snow that’s going to cut a swath through a section of the island tonight and tomorrow.

It will hit Gander, Clarenville, Deer Lake, Green Bay-White Bay and the Northern Peninsula. The central region and Corner Brook area will get about 15 cm, but Deer Lake, the Northern Peninsula and Green Bay-White Bay are in for about 25 cm.

The Avalon and Burin Peninsulas are in for an icy mixture before it turns to rain late tonight.

The Clarenville region is somewhere in the middle with a combination of snow and ice pellets today and tonight before it changes to rain Friday morning.
