Clocks Fall Back One Hour This Weekend

November 1st, 2018

Clocks turn back one hour this weekend to standard time.

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department is reminding people that the changing of the clocks is a good time to remember to check your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department says most fatal fires occur at night when people are asleep, and the victims never wake up.

Change or test the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms when setting the clocks back this weekend.

Daylight Saving Time returns to Standard Time at 2:00 a.m. this Sunday.
